Default 255/50/16s on stock wheels?

hey i was just wondering if anyone is running 255/50/16 on the stock rear wheels? if so what do you think? and which tires are you running? thanks

Why would you want to run a tire that is over an inch taller on the back of the car? While it will fit on the wheel I would not recommend it for the car. I am sure you would throw off the handling and the anti lock brakes.

Wouldn't 255's provide more surface area for better traction? i hardly ever use my anti lock brakes.

and you also said 255/50/16

im not sure but 255/45/16 might work the sidewall on the 50 and the 45 is different

245/45/16 maintains the same rolling radius as the stock tires.

255/50/16 is a significantly larger tire than stock. The only Max Perf tire in that size is the Michelin Pilot Sport for $236 a pop. It's overall diameter is 23" [edit - it's actually 26"], compared to the stock tire's 24.8" diameter.

In other words, don't do it. Get the 245/45 instead.

i think a 245 is good enough, better then the 225 that it comes with
