Default 255/40/17 RS-3 Prices have gone up?

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....22XL&tab=Sizes

Looks like they raised the price up to $148 per!

For the people who ordered already, do they honor the previous price or will they charge for the price difference?

EDIT: hoping Jim will contribute to this thread with some insight.

It would be extremely poor form to charge previous orders the new, higher price. I would be very surprised if the TireRack did this.

That is what I am hoping. Lets hope the estimated availability is actually correct this time!

I checked the price on RS-3's in 255-35-18 about a month ago, $250 each. Hope they didn't go up. This shows the difference in 17 & 18 inch tires.

Also they screwed me on a wheel purchase.

Discount tire direct also has random online sales too. Most of the time its an instant $50 off a set of 4 tires.
