Newish to an S2000. Been buildling mine all winter, and it's come time to the tire-choices.

I come from VWs, so stretch tires adn all, but, I'm going past that, since the S2 is scheduled to make 500+WHP, I really dont think it's a good idea to have anything tha'ts short of meaty .

I have a set of TE37 SLs. 18x9.5/18x10.5 +22 all around.

I know it's aggressive, but just hear me out.

Front fenders are flared all the way out, bumepr line pulled to match. I'm not too worried bout the fronts, because Im fairly confident I can fit 9.5 +22 with a 255/35/18. It's mainly the rears.

I've got some ASM Rear Flares about to go onto the rears. They were pulled to hte max already, prior to the flaring, and then I reshaped them and everything, to make it good, then I realized, hey, my wheels aren't going to fit too well.

So, got the Flares, and right now, the wheels have 255/35/18s on the rear.

What I really want to know is, barring any ridiculous camber, like -5+. Can I fit:

10.5 +22 with a 285/30/18 (Likely an AD08)?

How many USEABLE MM over stock body does the ASM over fender provide? That is the first thing I would need to know before I could tell you if it’s going to work.

Flares say that it adds 25MM to it.

But, there's an inner lip on it, that I plan on cutting of before installing. I'm not sure if that's 25MM with the inner lip, or 25MM without. I assume it's with.

You can see the small lip, that's got to be a few MM to be honest.

I'm also not sure, but because I flared my OEM Quarters to the max, when I throw the flares on, wouldn't that make them even "Wider" technically?

Enh not technically. The area you would cut from the quater panel would be the part that is flared. Good people to look at would be bouford and this guy

They both have over fenders and seem to run some of the crazier wheel and tire set ups. They could probably provide some insight as to just how much space is gained and what set up works.

Your flared fenders are moot since you would be cutting out that area and above on the quarters, the flares wont be functional otherwise - you need to make room for suspension travel. However these ASM fenders are not going to be wide enough for your +22 and 285". You will want a +35mm over fender minimum. I'm not convinced your fronts are going to be trouble free either. A typical Extreme Summer on a 9.5" rim sits pretty square and at +22 with your fender pull, your still going to tear those tires up. Your only saving grace on making your set up possibly work with the equipment in question is to run -5 camber all the way around. Thats a compromise I wouldn't make myself for a look, if driving the car and performance is important to you.

I think even with flared fronts your wheels are going to poke. And for the rears check out this pic 17x10 +30 with 265/40. The rear fender flare has been trimmed to gain additional clearance. I don't know the camber. Your setup will poke 14mm more than his.

^^^ That looks like at least -4 camber. Also 14mm poke is correct, but that's also excluding any additional tire room given up by the 285. I'm afraid ASM fenders aren't going to cut it, not with 285's. If he stretches on some 255's then maybe, but still too risky to make the investment. Wider over fenders are needed. +22 is ridiculous to consider otherwise. Should be getting some +25mm front fenders too.

17x10 +22 with a 255 tire. literally barely fits with about -3 camber. so I agree youre gonna need wider over fenders.

If u want performance get rims with a much higher offset so you can correctly run some wide tires.
