o ya another reason i want to run 245 40 17 in the front is because i feel like 45s might rub extra hard

IMO, it doesn't make sense to run non-staggered tires on staggered wheels. I think you would be better off sticking with 225/45 front and 255/40 rear for both fitment and performance reasons based on your wheel width/offset.

yes its true, but in order to run 245 in the front your going to run negative camber, so why not go a little bit more stagger, not crazy stagger but just a tad. I also like to order 4x 245 40 17 sumitomos at once haha just IMO i guess.

If you rubbed a little with OEM AP2 rear wheels up front, how much do you think you're going to rub with the tire shoved another 37mm (65mm - 28mm), or 1 1/2" further outboard?!

when i had the same +28 setup on 215 tires with -1.5 camber it never rubs and it still look sunk, so i was just tryna get opinions about upgrading to 245 in the front. I'll update soon, getting the tires on probli today or tomorrow, hopefully it can help some others trying to run this setup too.

255/40 will fit in the front with a 9" +45
camber will be between -2 or higher depending on your fenders

If 245's rub a tiny bit on stock AP2 rims, what do you think shoving the tires outboard more than an inch will do? If you're talking about AP2 rears mounted up front, those have +65 offset. +28 offset will move the tire more like 1 1/2" outboard. That is a HUGE amount!
