Default 245/40 17's in the Rears, Lowered 1 inch --> Rubbing inevitable?

This is the setup I'm thinking about going with on 17x8's in the rear that have 45mm offsets. Is this gonna rub like crazy or what? Anyone with the same setup?

Depends on how much your car is dropped, if you are over 200lb, and if your passenger is over 200lb.

What if I lower the car 1-inch, and I'm wavering at around 160 lbs ... and hopefully the girl sitting in the passenger side doesn't weigh 200lbs ... no rubbing?

I just installed the wheels ... basically from a bird's eye view looking down, the tire sticks literally about 1-2mm out in the front and back ... I like the wheels a lot, so I think the couple mm's of tire is ok for me to accept. Yes, it would be REALLY nice if the offsets were larger, but I'm satisfied with the look. I think perhaps lowering the car (no more than an inch, probably less) would make the wheels look more "inner", but MIGHT cause some rubbing because of the lowered height. It's something I'll have to think about though. I love the wheels though!

By the way RT, you are the king of wheels/tires as far as I'm concerned. You know too much about this stuff.
