235/40ZR17 or 235/45ZR17 for ap2 front?

everyone I know, as well as myself, who are running 235' up front are using the 40 series tire. I did it because I like how it matched up pretty evenly with the 255/40 in the rear.

Lowered? Any kind of front fender pulling?
I just did an Auto-X yesterday and the car was understeering A LOT. I was thinking about running 235 up front also but wasn't sure if they would fit?!?!?

The tire doesn't bulge out a lot realy looks fine to me. Some people (who are lowered) say the car looks a bit high at the front, I dunno.. I haven't had any ABS issues on street or track.
Surprisingly at the track the car pushed. When I took the wheels off the front left tire chunked a bit. I've come to the conclusion the Saner bar (even on full soft) overworks the fronts - even a 235. I'm changing to a less stiff (30mm) front bar and going back to the track and I'm gonna take the stock bar too in case this doesn't cure the push.
In my experience no matter what setup the car will push sometimes on auto-x.
You might need to brake sooner or trail brake into some corners but a 235 would probably help too.

Right now I have a Cusco 32mm front sway and PSS9s. On the coil-overs I was originally running setting 1 front and 3 rear, but then changed it to 2 rear and it seemed to help a little as well. Didn't get a chance to run 1 rear or 2 front to make the rear swing around a little easier. So I came to thinking a 235 tire up front or getting a Cusco 30mm rear sway bar to counter the front sway bar a little.
I'll try a few other things with setting first before jumping to purchasing anything but figured to start researching options now.

I would stick with the big front bar if you are mainly autocrossing and you have coilovers.
On auto-x on street tires on asphault I think the car will always push when you try and carry too much speed into tight corners. You need to make sure you're braking early enough and or brake into the corner.
I try and get most of the braking done in a straight line, then come off for the most part but keep a bit of pressure on as I turn in. You are just using the brake to keep the nose of the car dipped at the front and weight over the front so the tires grip.
It might take a bit of practice but it works great for me when I get it right.
