My track tires are 225 front, but the rears are 265. I have run a rear of 245 also.
Also, how did the 265's treat you? And what wheels were these sitting on (if not stock)?

I prefer the 265's, but the 245's weren't bad.

I just ordered 215/45 and 255/40 x 17 Azenis 615's today (to go on stock AP2 rims) hoping to keep stagger within reason. They should be in tomorrow, so we'll see how balanced the car feels soon.

one of the local SD guys ran this set up, and he said his car is understeering when pushed. hopefully he will chime in here.

Just had the tires put on the rims last night, and hope to get them on the car today.

It may depend on alignment...I had mine redone when new at slightly more aggressive camber settings than stock. Last time at the track on stock tires, when pushed hard I was oversteering if anything...the front end never pushed. As the 215 and 255 setup is less stagge than stock, can't imagine it will understeer more than stock....we'll see.

however, i find the behavior so neutral that at any given moment i can choose wether to push the front, step out the back, or slide on all 4. so it's not all too bad

btw, speaking of the UK alignment, it's been a year or so since I did mine and thinking of re-checking it with the new stickies. You have a link for the spec's...I never have good luck with search on this site and am feeling lazy. It's Saturday, after all

You got it on the neutral handling...don't know if you'd read any of my posts about my choice (very torn between 225 and 215), but the handling was so neutral I could get it to do whatever I wanted, depending on my guts at that particular moment. I didn't want to mess with that, as it made the track driving a lot of fun without too many hair-raising moments.

-1 camber
6 caster
0 total toe
my alignment guy couldn't get the caster to 6 tho, he said it maxed out at 5.8 or something.
rear
-2 camber
.25" total toe
these are the actual settings, but my alignment guy couldn't follow them because they're in degrees. the first time i got the uk alignment i ended up with .40 total toe
Front
Caster Left 6
