I'm think about purchasing these... Does anyone know if they're good all season tires for the s? I live in northern va where i don't see the much snow.

More of a luxury car tire than a sports car tire.
If I had to get all-seasons for my S, I'd go with Bridgestone RE960AS Pole Position. A *much* higher-performance tire.

It depends on what your priorities are. Maximum dry grip? Wet grip? Snow/ice grip? Tire life a factor? Price a factor?
Bear in mind that even if you don't get much snow, it might be worth compromising your selection in other areas in order to get good snow/ice grip if you might NEED to be able to get around in the stuff even only once in a while.
Tons of info available at Tire Rack, including objective and subjective results from tire tests. The only major brands they don't carry are Toyo and Falken.
all-season tires for AP1
ultra high perf all-seasons
high perf all-seasons

I'm currently running Eagle GTs (stock AP2 tire sizes).
They offer great traction and treadwear (400 i think.) I've run them at the track in both wet and dry and will be buying them again (in addition to r-comps for track).
They really stand out in the wet. On dry pavement, they're not as progressive as I'd like, but they remain predictable, and they are manageable when they do break.

I have Toyo Proxes 4's on my AP1 for the rainy season in Germany. I feel that wet traction is outstanding, even in the cold, and even if the sidewalls are a little less stiff than i like.

We had Conti ExtremeContacts on my wife's Mazda3.
The softness of the sidewalls is UNBELIEVABLE, total mush, and led to multiple blowouts from pothole incidents.
HATED those tires. With Dunlop Sport Signatures on now, the car feels like a sports car compared to when it was on the Contis.
