Default 225/45 with 245/40 question

I need tires for my '04 s2k on stock 17" rims. I'd get the 215/255 combo many people are trying...BUT i came across a steal on used michelin pilot sports in size 225/45 and 245/40.
Could save me some $$ till I can get the sizes and types I really want.

What do you all think would happen in terms of handling of my car ??? (ie. understeer... oversteer... cornering suffers...etc...?)

I'm still new to my car so any opinions would greatly help! Thanks!

that is fine, with a increase of tire size in the front u will be able to rotate the car easier

Biggest drawback will be that the fronts will look a bit beefier than the rears.
