Ooh, sponsorship?...get me a set of T1Rs in 17"!

Yeah, 265/35 would be a bit better (1.6%-1.7% diff), but even 2.7% isn't that much.

Get me free tires!!!
I really want a 285 tire, but oh well. Im going to get the 275. I wish I could hook others up, but Im still working out the finishing touches for my sponsorship.

you could always put on 275/35 then swap gears out to like 4.57 and get yellow box..

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=298625

to set yellow box correct

then you would have:
tire width you want
great traction
speedo corrected
and accel wouldnt be as affected.. the gears would kinda "Striaghten" it out a lil

but remembere widerrrrr rears=understeer tendency= stiffen rear (if adjstable susp, or camber fronts..

riley ;-)

congrats on sponsorship

thank you Niley. I already have 4.77s and the yellow box. I just need to figure out what I am going to set it to.

What about if I ran a wider tire in the front as well. Such as, a 235/40 or something like that? Any suggestions? Thanks!

235/40 would be fine.. just might rub at full click on wheel.

Well I was thinking about getting the Varis fenders to run them, but have decided it just wont look good with my set-up. I got my new wheels today and will find out more about the tire sponsorship towards the end of next week. Thanks again for all the help guys!

I run that setup, it is very neutral IMO. It does tend to understeer a little but overall I am very happy with this setup.
