your car looks very clean! The tires look nice as well, Ive read nothing but positive things about the s-drives. How do you like the tires so far?
Its a daily driver that see some autox duty when I am not racing my primary race car.
Couldn't beat them for the price, I will never buy Kumho again. Went through a set of rear XS's in 8 months. My wife pilot ate her Kumho's in less than 2 years..

And what type of wear did your wifes car have? Just rapid wear or was it due to other issues?
Sorry, I work in the tire industry, so I'm naturally curious.

Not meaning to thread jack, but you do know those XS are designed to wear like that, right? I'd assume so if you have a race car. That's a long time for those tires to me. I wear through a staggered set of star specs in about 3 months (even wear front and rear @ the same rate).

My brother had a set of XS's(on his s2000) and lasted about 1.5 years on the rears and he raced his car I was expecting the same if not more b/c I dont race the S2000 at all. I had the Kumho MX's that lasted longer and a set of stock Bridgstones at 140 tread wear that where used when I bought these AP2 wheels that lasted over a year after I got the wheels.. I also had a set of the old Hankook RS-2's that lasted 1.5years on the rear as well. This set of MX's got about 5k..
My wifes pilot is a 2006, I rotated the tires everyother oil change(about 10k miles). I had it aligned once a year and they are shot, they were rated for 60k from Kumho, my paperwork says I got about 25k out of them.. I didn't think I would see 60k but I thought I would have seen 45k-ish. Rapid wear=Fail
So I am just not happy with the kumho brand, there wear rate doesn't equal the performance IMO for any of my cars.
