Virgin post but have been reading awhile guys.
Am running the RS3 225/255 on modulo wheels. Think they are 7fr 8.5rr. Tyres look great on the rims.
Am running cusco coils with about 3/4 of a finger gap front and back. Camber is at 2.2fr, 2.6rr
Am getting no rubs, and cornering is just a dream. Absolutely love the setup. Have used RE11 and S001 before. While the bridgestone hard sidewalls helps with bodyroll IMO, they are just too harsh on the car as a day to day. Am loving the fact the RS3 side wall is just soft enough to provide the right amount of grip and feedback, not at the expense of comfort.
They are not that bad in the rain honestly. Any tyre in the wet runs its risk of sliding around. Just take it easy on the wet and you'll be loving this tyres.

I ran a 255 RS3 set-up on 9" wide wheels f&r last year.
This year i'm on 255 Star Specs on 9" wide wheels.
If you're going for performance "feel" and turn in response (again, what are you overall goals by purchasing an extreme performance tire?) I MUCH prefer the dunlops.
The RS3s will grip better at the top end, but only under the right conditions. "right" being very hot after some sustain performance driving. But the the softer sidewall make steering inputs feel sloppy and imprecise.
If I were you, and I was going to picking tires on the ap2 wheels, I'd go with the 225/255 star specs.

^ Thanks for that. I was planning on getting the RS-3s in 225/255 for the CR wheels. I was getting antsy waiting for the Z1s to become in stock. But I think the best bet is to wait for the Z1. I don't think I can generate enough heat on the RS-3 as a single driver in auto-x.

225/255 RS3 is perfect for stock AP2 wheels.
Regardless of "bulge", it is still grippier than 215/245.
Also, for the Z1 comparison, remember that the Z1 runs wider than RS3.
