215 or 225 For the Front?
I am adding AP2V1 wheels to my Ap1.
The car has CR shocks and springs with an AP2 rear sway bar.
I plan to run 255/40/17 in the rear.
I will be running Bridgestone S04's
Some have reported running 225/45/17 reduces the responsiveness of the steering.
The car is only street driven.
Any thoughts on 215/45/17 vs 225/45/17?
Thanks.

Yeah a 225/45 is a pretty big tire for a 7" wide wheel. The car is going to feel more precise and fun with a 215. Might as well stick with the CR spec all the way around since your already 90% there as is.

I have 225s and I also vote one for 215s. the 25s have more side wall deflection. to me, it feels like almost like body roll. also on ap2v1s. ran a 20mm up front. 255s in the rear for sure though.
s04s are very good tires. but ideally a 225 should be on a 8" wide wheel at least, IMO and my experience.
