205/40 on 17x9 +45?
Hey guys, new here but would like to request a favor.
A friend of mine is trying to sell me his rpf01s, 17x9 offset 35 off of his civic. He's giving me a good price with the brand new tires but unfortunately they are 205/40s all around ): I am lowered on tein flex springs but know the tires will run really narrow regardless. Has anyone seen a similar setup, or how dumb it looks? He lives more than an hour away so it's hard for me to just go test fit
Thanks for any help

OP Have him remove the tires or he can throw them in free so he doesnt have to pay to have them dismounted, then you can try and sell them to some other civic guys or toss them.

Thanks guys, I knew it would look stupid and I would really like to try a full size tire, but I do want to help him out since he's working with me on price. Ill probably end up selling the tires myself

Even so.... Are your fenders rolled ? How low are you ?
If your fenders are rolled I'd get 215 front and 245 rear . if you dont want to do the body mods id keep the 205 in the front and get a matching 225. Keep the other 205s for spares

The profile is way too low...he would want 205/45 if anything, but I prob wouldnt want less than a 225/45 on a 9" rim.
