Nitto NT-05 Tire Review
The NT05 is a maximum performance summer tire that was developed using advanced computer simulation and extensive on-track testing. These development methods along with rigorous quality standards helped produce a street tire that provides precise and responsive handling and performance.
Performance Rating: W
UTQG Treadwear: 200
Traction: AA
Temperature: A
Nitto has just recently released their new tire design NT-05. I have had the pleasure of picking up a set and testing them out. The tires looked very impressive at first glance. The first thing I noticed was the tread pattern. It looked like a very innovative and promising design.
Raining Day:
It does not usually rain much in California, however, I did get a chance to test these tires in the rain. The handling still holds up. There is no slippage or sliding of any kind. The tires grip excellently.
Sunny day
The Nitto NT-05s run even more amazingly in dry conditions. The car sticks to the road whether you are driving on a straightaway or thru corners. The turning response is very accurate. Stopping power is still quick and responsive. Another plus to this tire would be its road noise. There is very little tire noise within the cabin, even when traveling on the freeway. The tires dealt with bumps and dips in the road nice and left me with a cushiony ride.
