2 Work Wheel Offset Choices Help ASAP
Hi,
I am going to purchase a set of Work Meister S2R wheels and I need some assistance deciding between two offsets.
For the fronts, the sizes/offsets that I am thinking about are:
17x7.5 +48
or
17x7.5 +59
For the rear, I am looking at:
17x9 +55
or
17x9+73
I appreciate any help that you all can provide.

Always get the higher offsets when working with an S2000 unless you are trying to clear a BBK.
That said, you could use the lower offsets with a 215/245 tire combo, or even 225/255 if you are feeling lucky. The higher offsets would let you use even wider tires than that.

After talking with the Work distributor in Costa Mesa, and an independent Work dealer, I wound up ordering 17x8 .51 front, 17x9 .63 rear, 225/255 Advan Neovo. Did I do the wrong thing?

i have 18x8's and 18x9's but my offset in the front is +51 amd the rear is +60. the offset is perfect! i can tuck the rears if i want easy and will only rub if you hit a large bump at over 40mph

Thanks guys, I appreeciate the feedback. I'm not car stupid but I have to admit that offset confuses me. I drive my car aggressively on Coast Highway 1 - when safe - and there are lots of dips & bumps. I specifically told these guys that I wanted a "real world" setup and that's what they recommended. Should I cancel order?
