18x9 +32 rear question - Running a double staggered setup
Hey guys,
So I've been researching this for months now and finally pulled the trigger. I picked up a double staggered set of SSR type-Fs. The front are 17x8.5 +58 and the rears are 18x9 +32.
I know the rear will now extend an extra 38mm out compared to the stock 8.5 +65. It's almost the same as running 9.5 +40 as that sticks out 37mm wider. I have my fenders rolled completely flat all around with relocated rear tabs. My big question is how much camber will I have to run and will it work with a 245/35/18 tire? The car has a finger gab right now with stock ap2 rims w 25mm spacers.
I know it's hard to judge without seeing the car and what not, but those are all the numbers. I don't really want to run over fenders as it would look weird on an almost stock looking ap2 (Hardtop, front lip and BYS rear spoiler). Will I need to pull the rears? As I said, Shane did a great job on my fenders and they're literally flat on the inside. I would hate to stretch a ridiculously small tire on the rim.
Any help is appreciated. If you want to point me somewhere else that's cool too. I've been looking all over. Usually though I end up looking at 9.5 +40 NT03 setups.
Just an FYI, I went that crazy of a rear set up as that's when the SSR Type Fs start to concave and look mean.
Thanks.

Man that’s a huge difference in wheel fitment front to rear. The rear is going to look super aggressive/ hellaflush and the front is going to be sunk in looking stock. Not sure what the thought was there, id plan on getting some 20mm wheel spacer for up front to help even things out since you already pulled the trigger on the wheels.

The front won't be sunk in that much though. It's still a 19mm difference up front. So with a 5-10mm spacer, it will be aggressive. My stock ap2v1's with 25mm spacers in the front are about as far as I want to go (up front). Anything more will be a pain unless I change the fender or pull. That is flush with the front fender now so it will basically be about the same with a 5mm spacer.
Also, I bought each set of rims in pairs (front and rears) over the past few months. my plan is to buy another pair of 8.5 +50 or something normal for the rear so I can autocross. Obviously with an alignment first.
