Default 18x8.5 et38

so i got rims that are 18x8.5 with a 38 offset. they stick out like an inch from the fender. the tires on it is 225/40. how can i make these fit loll. im lowered 2 inches. im thinking a stretch and camber will make it fit under. has anyone ever done this or should i just sell these, thanks

Looks like you've already figured out the answer. You can either mutilate you car and get a crappy alignment, or you can sell the wheels and get some that actually fit the car.

I vote for the latter, but the never ending search for hellabling has blinded many people. Do what you want.

PS: I assume this is for the front. The fitment shouldn't be too bad for the back, though 225 width would be awfully narrow.
