Default 18x8.5+38 square fitment

Hey everyone, I simply am just looking for appropriate tire sizes for these wheels on my my04. My car will be pretty low and plan to roll fenders, but don't want to do any more than that. With that given, what would be the best tire size to run? I was thinking a 225/40/18 245/40/18 staggered setup. After reading some, I see maybe I should do a lower aspect ratio, but not sure. Any suggestions with pics would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys

IMO, square wheels should have square tires. Go 255/35/18 all around and get a stiffer front sway. You'd love the feel.

The problem with that is they wont fit due ot the offsets here. So thats where the 225/245 stagger comes in max.

To the OP, 245/35 replicates the factory overall diameter. Dropping down a series gives you a little more room as well. The issue is getting the front to match, but 225/40 wouldn’t be too much a difference. Not sure if anyone makes a 225/35 in an 18, but you might consider that option also, if someone does.

You've got a point. If the OP doesn't want to do more than a simple roll, it's time to look at higher offset wheels.
