Here is my thread. You shouldn't have issues as long as you do what we have said to do with the camber and what not. Once you get the wheels and test fit them it will really show you what you are facing.

Is there a big difference between 215/40 and 215/35? I don't want my front tires to be taller then my rears I like my car to be more at a downward angle from the front. Could I do 215/35 and 255/35? Or does the from sidewall have to e bigger? I have no knowledge on these things sorry

A 215/40 is already slightly shorter then a 255/35. Its exactly what your after. 225/40 would be the exact match for a 255/35 just fyi.

The sidewall number is a % of the width of the tire. So even though it is a larger % it is of a smaller number meaning the sidewall is the same height.

I went with 215/35/18 in the back instead of the 40. The 40 over all height was 24.8 and the 35 was 23.9, that's almost an inch. That way I get as low as I want without having to tuck as much tire and I won't have clearance issues when turning. Over all height for the back will be 25 and for the front 23.9, that isn't going to be a problem is it? Versus the 40 series up front which would put me at 25 back and 24.8 front.

Wouldn't have been my preference. It will change how the car handles and brakes, and a 1/2" Shorter sidewall is quite a noticeable looking difference compared to the back which will look too far off in my opinion. My suggestion with the 24.8/25 would have been the natural smarter choice, but I get that not everyone does smart things when it comes to cars.
