Default 18x7.5 +43 (F) 18x8.5 +48 (R)

I know this is a very tight setup for our rears... but I only plan to drop .8 inch... will it rub at all or do I need to roll the fenders?

Sorry... I know there have been many offset questions these past couple of weeks.

According to the offset formula with a 8.5 in the rear w/245's you will only stick out about 3/4 inch more than OEM (225/50/16 +55)

You should be ok. I would NOT go any wider on rim or tire though.

Hmm... i used the rim offset calculator site:
http://www.mindspring.com/~toy4two/offset.html

and it says:
outside edge of front will extend extra 25mm
outside edge of rear will extend extra 30mm

this is sticking out 1 inch or more than stock...

will this be ok?

Hmm...... I noticed that. I'm wondering if I did the calculation wrong. I know that by just looking at the specs.....+48 is really low compared to stock which is +65.

I used this calculator which takes into consideration both sides of the wheel.

however... it looks like my wheels will be sticking out close to an inch more than stock in front and back...

can someone chime in to let me know if this will fit correctly or rub?

Those offsets are to low. That said if you are only dropping .08 you might be ok if the springs you are using are on the stiff side. Have you bought the wheels yet? If not you should wait a bit, do some research and get a wheel with higher offsets. Good luck.

nope... did not buy the rims... just asking

ive been doing a lot of research and knew this would be cutting it real close... but i thought i would ask b/c they are cheap rims that are lighter than stock... (most ones that are lighter than stock are like 3-400 a rim! like SSR comps or Volks)

Yeah.......I love the gearing portion of it cause it gives you an idea of what to expect for acceleration and the effects the changes will make.
