ssr sp1's have been discontinued for a while now. try to search the fs forum once in a while and see if any owners are selling.

the SSR's are not discontinued. you can get the wheels from anyone that sells Tanabe products because they now carry SSR. Tanabe Japan bought SSR about 2 years ago. here is their link:

My buddy tried ordering SSR's from Gruppe-S and it was a nightmare. They told him that the wheels would arrive in 30 days, but after 6 Months he still didnt recieve his wheels. He had to fight with the company to get his money back. Definately not worth the hassle or risk. He ended up going through More Japan and got his wheels delivered a month later.

I ordered mine through gruppe-s and got them in exactly 90 days. Thats expected for wheels coming from japan.

Not saying that you didnt. But its not cool to tell a customer 1month and 6months later they still have your money and you have nothing but an empty promise. Go ahead and give them your $2k, but Im just warning people about the risk involved.

I ordered my wheels last june 2006, didn't get them until november 2006... expected arrival was september... oh well.
