What would be the ideal tire size for 18x7.5 frt/ 18x8 rr if I went with the MX's again?

I want a 255 rear, but don't see one - is it not produced in this size? The 245/40/18 seems a bit tall for these wheels. I also wanted to run 215's in the front.

If not the MX's, what other choices do I have? Someone please help! I need to order tires SOON for the new wheels that are incoming.

Thanks in advance.

The MX comes in a 265/35/18. Not sure if that will work on an 8" wheel

Thanks Hondafan, but yeah the 265 may not fit with the 8" rear.

It's frustrating that I've made EVERY tire purchase for this car through the Tire Rack and can't get ONE Tire Rack consultant to give me some advice????!?!

Makes me think where I should look for tires now...

Why don't you try calling Jim. Sometimes Ma Bell is the best way to get your questions answered.

Ecsta supra 712's are not in the same league as an MX, S-03 or T1-S. They are more for the budget minded. I would think the ES100's are comparable and superior to the 712's. Anyone with these on their car care to comment?
