Well the warehouse is suggestiong a 712 or yokahama sport. They say that they can get a 225 but are having trouble finding a 205 in 18 inch like you guys are saying.
They also make this specific rim in 19 and 17 so I will try to find tires that will fit those.

In the mean time what do you think the widest tire that I can get on the front and back with these demensions. Right now I will try anything, my rears are so shot that I am not even driving my car anymore and I need to get this sorted out before this weekend.

Just a quick update. Well my dealer hit a wall with the local warehouse on fitment issues. So they went to the source. They called Konig, Konig called honda to find the exact fitment requirements.

Konig is being very nice and helpful, they even suggested a tire that will fit within my driving style and be reasonable. + is looks real cool and is cheap and I have even seen a few of the intergra R guys running around with them on the track on their cars and they have said good things about it on there message boards.

So the final verdit from Konig from what I remember is, that I can only run a 205-15 up front because nothing else will fit, they said 215 should clear but they will be sending two sets a 205 and a 215 to make sure for the install. The rear has to be a 225 nothing else will fit, they said a 265 like recommended by the warehouse will stick out like those lowered wire rimmed corrolla's

The tires will be Parade 2 + 's 40 height I believe. With hubsentric's and red carbon covers they came in under my 2000 doller budget. I have to go with the silvers though as the whites will not be avaliable for ~5-6 weeks. I just can't wait that long and I saw a jetta with them on in white with blue paint. It really screams arrest me, (not that my stripes and exhast don't do that already.)

Well I can't wait but they get here on friday it seems. I will be putting A032r's on my stock rims for track use for now because they are cheap on hold up rather decently.
Anyway got the last set this side of the mississippi in 18 as they don't make that many.

My ride height is the next issue + getting some more time on the track. Also I needc to post pictures of my current S02's I rode them way to long. From the center of the tire and then in 2 inches either direction there is no tread. The sidewalls rails are totaly shot. I have ground the wear bars into nothing and have been using the tires for rear sliding practice in the wet to work on my throttle control.

StormBringer,

Here is what I recommend for your wheels:

Front: 215/40/18 Parada
Rear: If your car isn't slammed...you should use 245/35/18 Toyo T1-S

215/40/18 and 245/35/18 is a decent aftermarket combination. The overall diameters match stock exactly...24.8 inches. I ran on those specifications for a long time (commute use)...the only thing I didn't like was that the profile is really thin and the ride is a bit harsh.

If you already ordered 225/40/18 for the rears...it's cool. Just get 245/35/18 for the next set.

I have a 4/5 used up 245/35/18 Toyo Proxes T1-S sitting in my garage. If you want it to test fit it on your wheels...I'll send it to you.

phantom thanks for the offer but I will simply replace the 225's in the back with 245's or next tire I go through tires. Konig was very adament that a 245 would not fit even on stock height. So they said a 225 would look good and let me do the 1 inch drop that I require.

245/35/18 is cutting it close with a 1 inch drop...but they should be fine for stock height.

Maybe Konig was saying 245/40/18 would not work with stock height?

No they knew that I was going to drop the car. They said that a 245 would work on stock height though but even then they said it would be pushing it. I will post pictures later tonight for everyone to see.

After much dialogue with Tire Rack and OZ corporate in Miami, I selected:

Front:
OZ Superleggeras
18 x 7
+45mm offset
Bridgestone Pole Position SO-3's / 225/40/18

Rear:
OZ Superleggeras
18 x 9
+55mm offset
Bridgestone Pole Position SO-3's / 255/35/18

The fitment is good; I chose the 7 inch wide rim for the front instead of Tire Rack's "advertised" 8 inch; I found OZ carried a 7 inch rim in my calls. The tire fits the rim but is at the minimum recommended range of width.

I love my fitment, look and handling!!

That is very close to my fitment just the rear offset is a little different. They should fit fine so should mine, I did not know that you could get a 255 on the back without a huge +60 or so offset..

I like the S03's but was quoted some crazy price for them. I am off to pick up my rims in a few hours so I just hope they look as cool as I expect I have only seen the 18 hanging on the wall. Wil post pictures soon.

Funny thing should my friends the rims that I picked out and they all broke out into song, "roll'n on 20's dub out". I really hope thats not the reaction that I get with these things. Peace.
