Default 18 inch tire choices for street.

Guys, I found the rims that I want in 18 inch form in white. The Kong Toxxin's. Part number 60668 rear 60667 front's offset is 45.

According to the warehouse they fit just fine, my tire guy is getting a set in to test fit for later in the week. My biggest rpoblem is finding tires for the big things. They have a S02 but I would image that it is just like the non oem S02's that are flaoting around. Plus they are ~300 a piece.

Ouch, that means at the current rate of consumtions for my tires ~8000 miles I would have to replace the rears every 3 months and the fronts every 5. That means more money spent on tires then the car payment. (not going to do it) so do they make a moderatly aggressive 18 inch tire that will last ~30,000 miles or so.

I have a second set of rims now that I have been using for track tires so that will deffinitly cut down of the wear but on the street I need something for just driving around like a semi sane person.

Thanks I will look into it. Fortunetly tire rack has S03's in 18 inch size starting around 200 bucks. I belive that they sould wear a little bit better.

But does anybody used the yokohama parada's because that was suggested as a moderatly agressive tire with some decent wear numbers. Also the Kumho ectsa supra 712's.

Well I got a week or so to decide. The biggest thing is that if I could confirm that they fit then I could simply order a complete set online and save close to 500 bucs or so at washington tire so if anybody could confirm fitment it would be great.

What width wheels and what size tires you planning? ET45 w/ a 225/40-18 up front ain't gon'a fit!

It's a 18 inch rim with a 45 offset, I intended to run a 225 up front but now I don't know, my car is stock height so I believe that I can run a 224. But if I have to go smaller ~205 then thats what I will have to do.

How big can I go in the rear, the fitment show's ~265 will fit with this rim but I really doubt that.

205/XX-18's are a weird size too, don't know if any "normal" tires come in 205's

Best 'bang-for-your-buck' (read: cheap!) tires for daily driving -- Kumho 712's.

Not going to be able to find a tire for the 18x7 fronts. Too narrow
What size tire does the "warehouse" think you should run? Maybe the "warehouse" is not a good info source? I see at least three strikes already (18x7?, ET45?, 265/35's on an 8" wheel?, ..., .....) run, run away!
