Default 18" Avant Garde M220 fitment

18" Avant Garde M220 fitment

Questions:

1. Does it come in 17" - I know the manufacturer's site says 18" only, but just in case I missed something.

2. Offset seem to be little off. But I've seen it on S2000 before (even on manufacturers site as example), so how is the fitment? At what Alignment?

35mm front and 35mm rear
18x8 front and 18x9 rear
center bore: 73.1mm

3. What is the highest tire you can run on S2000? I drive to DC, so for a year, I have to make sure my car doesn't die or wheels don't get ding by potholes until I get a second car.

pix with it on it:

Thx

p.s. I searched, and nothing came up on this sub-forum.

It's doable with those specs. You need a fender roll all around and tab relo plus -2.5 front and -3 degrees for camber. Tires I would do 215/40/18 front 245/35/18 rears. You may be able to fit 225/40/18 front 255/35/18 rear depending on if you pull slightly. As for 17's I doubt it. If they don't list it they probably don't. Though enough money and anything is possible. Call and ask.

Well what did you expect? You could pull the crap out of your fenders and maybe run less but your fenders will probably not look good.

you're in for a disappointing surprise. the first thing anyone should know for s2k is that offsets are everything. some companies that make good wheels and have some that fit the s2000 are volk, rays, enkie, tsw, wedsport, prodrive, desmond and a few others.

Yeah the sad thing is the S2000 was a fairly limited car and now that it is out of production many wheel companies aren't looking at it since its a fairly small market. Also car companies are moving to bigger and bigger wheels so designing a 17 is also a shrinking market. Couple that with super high offsets and we don't get much love.
