Best I found to work with my setup was 215/45/17 up front & 235/40/17 in rear, but to each their own. Bigger tires mean more neg camber. I found that when I ran 245/40/17s they where to big & & I had to run more neg camber than 235/40/17s. If you don't track much then just get smaller tires. Plus, its not like the S2 has enough torque to turn those bigfoot tires. haha

is the rim being a 9.5 the issue? Or is that offset it?

In most cases, width of the rim has little to do with whats causes the problem. A lower offset is what you should be more concerned about, which is what is making all the calculations difficult. You can easily run a 9.5" wide wheel w/o fender modifications if the offset is at or higher than +60 (ball park number); but than tire size has some play in this as well.

What I figured. Hell on my gto I can't even fit 9.5's without cutting the fenders. And it's a freakin v8. Amazing you can on such a tiny car.

People on the Racing forum that autocross their car have ran 10s all around. Which is very amazing for a car with stock body and no modifications to suspension components to clear. Not many cars car run that rear let alone the front
