Default 17x9 +45 and 255/40/17 up front, will it fit?

Hello. I'm wondering what will be required to run 255/40/17 Hankook RS3 tires on 17x9 +45 on the front of my AP2?

I currently have Bilstein PSS9 with only a 0.7 inch drop. And I do not plan to lower it further. The front fenders have been rolled, and the liners and tabs have been trimmed as well. I don't believe the fenders have been pulled though. Not sure what the camber specs are, but if I had to guess. -2 or so.

Any input on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It will fit. -2 camber at least maybe -2.5. Lots of people run this spec all around.

I searched around in the RPF1 thread. I read probably 3/4th of all related posts and could not get a solid answer. Most folks said don't use 255, and just go 245 front and 255 rear. Then other folks were saying you need a massive pull or else it won't work, then forget to mention at what height the car will be. Honestly, I was getting a headache because I could not find an answer

Anyway, what setup are you running? Do you happen to real world experience with my particular setup?

I roll fenders. I have rolled over 50 cars at least (i have lost count really it could be more I've been doing it for over 2 years now) locally and seen people with this setup. I run a 17x9 +43 in front with a 245 and a 255 would not be a problem. The fenders just need to be flat. If you want you can pull them a little but it doesn't need much. As I said running more camber will also help. As I said it is a very common setup.

17x9+45 with 255/40/17 is such a common setup. I fact my friend runs this as a square setup on stoch suspension and he is not rolled at all!! He tracks his car and autocrosses his car with no problems. It just slightly rubs on his fender liner. From all the reading I have done they saw a roll is 100% needed but like I said my friends has no roll and tracks and auto crosses his car without issue with non moded oem fenders. The fact that he's on stock suspension helps a lot. This would be impossible le if you were lowered.

Just had this set-up done 3 days ago with RPF1. Front L: -2.06 R: -2.09. No Rubbing issues once so ever. You Do Not need to pull fenders for sure!

Thanks for the response. This is the type of answer I'm looking for

I am lowered about 0.7-0.8 inch. But then I am running Bilstein PSS9 coilovers...so that should help a little with the stiffness when the suspension is under heavy compression.

Nice! What tires did you end up going with? RS3 as well? Any pics by any chance?
