Just let him do it. You live and you learn.

He may be stubborn....but he might see the light when he realizes how much a PITA it is...

If he runs -2.5 in the front it should work, so long as he isn't stupid low. I run 9+40 with a wide 255's and have room to spare with only a slight flare. Once you flare the front, there really isn't much for the tires to catch. Our car has great dynamic camber, so you'd be surprised what you can get away with. What kind of wheels?
What did you do to the bumper tabs when flaring? Usually aren't those the first to catch and cause fender damage?

Bumper tabs catching when flaring

You relocate the bumper tab and roll, not flare the rear. In the front you flare, but there are no bumper tabs.

there are tabs for the fender liners that can bend down and cut your tires, but more than often, it's the top of your fender that catches and cuts the front tire, not enough to slash it though.

Fender liner tabs, and bumper tabs are completely different things. So is rolling and flaring. Just trying to clear up confusing terminology for the uninformed

Yeah, I ment the tabs in the fronts. I always thought those are the things that tires catches first..

I what I'm asking is, what part of the fender that catches is actually doing the fender damage in the front??? ...what you see in the "official pwnage fender thread".

it's the fender "lip" which is what you roll up front and rear. The front fender tabs can catch but it's less likely.
