Hi guys i just bought a set of 17x8 wheels and wondering can i fit 255/40/17 or 245/40(45)/17 on the rear? The rear wheel offset is 45. Thanks!

Why did you buy these wheels without finding out first? Why would you want a NARROWER rear wheel than even stock first generation? This is not a Civic.
