17x8.5 +54 235 front 255 back will it fit stock?
Here's my issue . Lets say, hypothetically I got a set of wheels that were:
17x8.5 +54 both front and back (my car is completely stock AP2, no fender rolls or camber)
my questions are:
a) what tires would I have to run in order to fit stock fenders and stock suspension?
would I be able to run 235 front and 255 back?
b) would this look weird if the wheels are the same sizes front and back but different tire sizes?
c) I know this prob defeats the purpose of a non-staggered setup, but I would like these rims and don't want to pass on a good deal. I know the min offset suggested is +58 for 8.5" wide wheel for the front and a 235 tire.
I read the offset guide in this section about minimum offsets show below.
front:
225 tires: +53 offset minimum (7.0

Glad I saw this
Give me a call at (859) 536-0130 and I can discuss your options in detail with you... I have a little experience with these wheel/tire sizes
Short answer: at stock ride height, with the factory alignment, you could fit 255's up front with no rubbing. Lower the car a bit and you'll need either (1) more camber (2) light fender roll (3) 245 tire.
