Default 17X8 +48 225/45 tire, 17X9 +55 255/40 tire

Edited post for current situation......

Front: 17X8 +48 offset with 225/45 z1 ss tires.
Stock height. -1 camber

Rear: 17X9 +55 offset with 255/40 z1 ss tires.
Stock height. -2 camber

Front: I rubbed and had to cut the most of the fender tabs and cut back some of the plastic. I kept the tabs that look like they remain unaffected.

Rear: rubbing but cant see what.

Are you more or less likely to rub on street or track? Track you have harder cornering, street you have bumps in the road. So what do you think?

You're increasing the stock wheel width by 1 inch and dropping your offset by about 7mm. I say you go measure your space between the inside of your fender and the outer lip of the tire and do the calcuations.

I'm running a 215/45 Star Spec on a 17x8 +44 rim. I haven't rubbed one bit, even being lowered one inch. As for the 225, I'm not sure. It would definitely be pretty close.

EDIT: I just noticed you mentioned stock height, you 'might' be fine.

I rubbed in front. I had to shave off the fender tabs at 10,12,and 2 oclock and cut back the plastic a bit to make it work leaving the others fender tabs so the fender lining is still held in place. It actually looks really good, i am impressed with the work the shop did.

I'm surprised, I thought at stock height and with a bit of negative camber it would be fine.

Now I have run into a new problem.

95% of the time even in hard cornering the car is fine, but when I take a hard corner and any bumps in the road at all it rubs in the back.

In the rear I am running 17X9 +55 offset with a 255 40 tire. According to the sticky this wheels should be able to stuff a 265 tire. For some reason I think i need to roll my rear

Any recommendations? What do you think it could be rubbing? I hear it but i cannot see what its hitting but it does sound like plastic. The shop that shaved my fender taps in the front are sketchy about rolling fenders on an s2k. They say that our fenders crack often on this car especially if you roll the front.

all you need is to heat up the paint before you roll it and keep constant heat while you roll and the paint wont crack

17x8 +44 Front with 225/45/17 -3deg camber/fenders slightly rolled - No rubbing.

17x9 +54 Rear with 255/40/17 -4deg camber/fenders rolled/relocated bumper tab - No rubbing.

Car is lowered quite a bit on F 13kgmm R 11kgmm coilovers. Space between wheel arch and tire is about 1 finger's width or less.

Wow thats a very aggressive alignment.

My car is stock height dont think i need/can go that extreme.

I thought an ap2 MY08 wouldnt require the rear bumper tabs to be relocated? Weren't they relocated from the factory for the newer years? Think a simple roll will be enough for my set up? Afterall, this supposdly fits according to the sticky, so I cant imagine that i need much more clearance. The sticky let me down
