Default 17x8 +38 17x9 +45 tire sizes

Some of you guys know that my super advans got stolen. Well I just grabbed another set. This new set is 17x8+38 and 17x9+45. These are less aggressive than my stolen set which were 17x9.5 +35 squared. I'm wondering what's a good tire size for the front is. 225/40? 225/45? 235? I didn't rub at all with my previous set up 235/40 up front. My fronts are rolled and slight pull with trimmed liners.

As for the rear, I have shine asm over fenders. I'm thinking 255/40.

Let me know what you guys think, especially for the front

I think 225/45 would be the best size based on wheel width and diameter match with a typical 255/40 rear. 235/40 would also work, not a fan of the diameter difference front to rear, but if you ran that before and liked it then it will work. 245/40 might even be an option for the front if you have the room.

In order of my preference: 225/45, 245/40, 235/40

225/40 is undersized diameter, would not run under any circumstance.

The best size would be 225/45R17 front and 255/40R17 rear. They keep the same diameter front to rear and will work the best on the car.
If I can help let me know.
