Default Is 17x8 +35 the wrong offset for the fronts?

I have some regas and a potential buyer said 17x8 +35 17x9+38 are the wrong offsets for the S2000, I beg to differ but can anybody chime in?

They will fit but you will have to roll and relocate tabs.

For a decent tire size 245/40 on the rear. Not sure with the front though. Still fairly new to proper tire sizing.

Currently there are 225/45 F and 255/40 R. I didn't think it was that aggressive.

Oh ok those are good tire sizes. Your buyer probably doesn't want to do the work on the fenders and tabs.

Sizes are fine as long as your fenders are rolled, and run no more than 225 front, 245 rear.

Just show him pics and explain that it needs fender work. If he wants a stockish offset then look elsewhere.

Alright, It's probably best if I sold the tires and they can run w/e they want. So to run these w/o any problems, a roll is needed? Slight pull maybe?

I run 8.5" wide fronts with +24 offset without rubbing on a 215 tire...but I also did a lot of rolling/trimming. I'd say those Regas are a good rolled fender fitment.
