Default 17x8 +28 Fronts, 17x9 +35 Rears

so i have a set of work meister s1 right now, 17x8 +28 Fronts, 17x9 +35 Rears that i just purchased on the forum. I'm running 215 40 17 streched in the front and 245 35 17 in the rear.

i feel understeer sometimes but rear traction seems okay, im currently dropped on eibach with 1 inchish... so rubbing doesnt occur. But will be gettin coils soon to dump it.

would it be safe to run 225 in the fronts and 255 in the rears? or would that flare out with need of fender work? i really feel like handeling is lost quite a bit and wants more control.

I don't see how what you have now does't rub. The wider tires and drop will need more than a fender lip roll to make those wheels fit. I can see pulling the fenders out and running a lot of negative camber.

run some negative camber in the front like -1 and that should help with your understeer issue.

There is no way you have those offsets and are not rubbing without massive fender rolling and pulling...
I have 17x8+44 in the rear with a 245 tire and -2 camber in the rear 1.2" drop and still rub on really big dips in the road sometimes..

yea those are pretty aggressive... not silentdancer agressive... but aggressive... you would need at least a roll all around and maybe a pull + camber if you are running those tires

that spec is pretty easy to fit. roll/pull all around with -3 camber rear and -2 front.

what is wrong with -3 degrees of camber? Most hardcore track guys are over that...

Unless you are driving a stock S2000 or competing in SCCA A Stock, you should never be running more camber in the rear than in the front on an S2000.
