17x7 question
ok, if i got 17x7's on all 4's... will the stock tire size fit?
no im not thinking of putting my stock tires back on it, but i am thinking of getting wheels, and i want to know if 17x7 will fit? also, if i put a 17x7 with a 215/40x17 tire would that work? or would it be too small?
Specs:
5x100 or 5x114.3
17x7
48mm offset

Stay with a staggered fitment. please don't half ass on an S'.
To answer your question, a 7" in wheel in the rear is too small. a 245 is to big for that width of a tire.

i've been running 17x7's all around without any problems at all. i use this as a daily driver and don't really corner hard or auto-x. i'll rev it up hard and vtec the S. i staggered my tires with 205 in front and 225 in back. i know everyone says that you lose handling and performance and blah blah blah. but seriously, i don't notice anything since im not trying to push its handling to the max. i wanted to go 245 in the rear but i was told that would not fit right and 225 is the way to go if you go w/ 17x7 in the rear. My offsets are 48.
