On 17x7.5 +48 front 17x8.5 +54 rear wheels are 225/45/17 front 255/40/17 rear tires going to fit ok?

according to the wheel fitment guide stickied at the top of the forum, the rears should fit fine, but the fronts have slightly too low of an offset to run 225's. It's close though, so if your car isn't lowered, it may not rub.

You should be good to go. The wheels are on the narrow side so that helps. If I can help with the tires let me know.

Thanks for your help guys, I will be lowered about 1 inch. Admittedly I like the fat tire look, not for everyone. But hey I have a red Sparco Rev seat in a yellow car, so don't ask me what looks good. Anyway, I already bought the wheels. They are Prodrive GC-05s in British Black (dark grey metallic with no clear coat). Should look pretty nice with the yellow.

It will fit fine

Soon as my tires wear out I will be putting those sizes on my Prodrives and I am lowered 1 inch too.
