I know i want 8 wide in the front and 9 in the rear. But for everday uses what do you perfer and why? I know 17's won't ride as harsh as 18's, but is there that big of a difference?

I'd say go with 17's for daily driving. There's also a lot of tire options with 17's as compared to 18's. In the end its all personal preference.

 

I agree with the 17" for a daily drive. They are going to ride better and be less likely to get damaged.

I DD 18's over shit roads with 0 problems. Plus I think the 18's look better IMO.

It's all personal preference anyway.

 

No performance benefits to 18s, and you'll pay more for the wheels themselves and for tires every single time you need a new set.

Personally, I think 17s look better, too, but that's purely subjective of course.

 

Okay thanks for the replies, I'm gonna wait more towards summer and put winter tires on the stock wheels.

 

I think the only 18" wheels that look good on an S are BBS LMs and those type of mesh rims with a faaaat lip.
