If you're going with gold wheels, then I assume you're in it for the bling so 18's.

Another thing to consider is that a polished lip makes wheels look an inch smaller than they really are.

I'm sure someone will say 17's for performance, which is true, if you are planning on getting seriously competitive with your car (if you are doing that you're probably going with a light weight 16" wheel on race rubber). If you are just going on aggressive drives and cruising around town 18's will suffice just fine.

My progression:

18" SSR GT1's to 17" CE28N's to 16" Stockers to 18" GT-C's and I can honestly say that when it comes to non-competitive performance it really doesn't matter which wheels you have as long as you've got good rubber......well, those stockers are a little skinny and you can certainly feel the difference there.

NO NO NO NO NO... i am not in it for the bling.. i wanna have more performance than looks.... when i go to the track i could just get 16's however i am talkin about balance...
i know im gonna be running random ass people on the freeway sometimes but I wanna know what is best and practical for my car... the reason i want gold is just that.. i just want gold rims because i like gold not the bling factor... in the end im leanin more toward 17" LE28n's in gold...

I would say for performance the 17" would be the way to go. You can reduce the unsprung weight of the wheels and tires over 18".

18's look too big for the car anyways. They give it a cartoony look imo. 17's = look's and performance.
