no those will not rub, I would actually run bigger tires and roll/pull my fronts a little depending on the ride height.

thanks for the reply, so actually is it becuz of the high offset? +63? due to not rubbing? so let say if i get this set up and i lowered my car with coilovers, i dont' need to roll the front fenders?
anyone has pictures with same set up? 17x9 offset 63?

Thanks a lot

You can run a big tire on the back with those sizes, no need for tiny 225s. You could do a 265 rear, 235 or maybe even 245 front combo I'm pretty sure.

Or you could just scratch the whole idea and sell them to me.

updated the typo mistake..!!
sorry, i just realize i had a typo mistake in the topic

i was meant to be 255/40/17 tires all around instead of 225 , that's my original question, i'm just wondering whether 255 will rub the front or not, need to roll fender for that?

Thanks all

trying to bring this thread back alive lol. after finding this thread i have the same problem, except im running on ce28s with 255's all around ( only front rubs ), the fenders have already been rolled, pulled etc...but when i do a full lock and reverse it rubs the inner top fender liner and slightly on the fender....i also have a set of amuse dampers that i want to put in but dont know if it'll rub even harder once its lowered, im not planning to slam it, just a decent drop, also, someone on another thread told me to put some negative camber up front to avoid the rubbing, will that work? since the rubbing position is right above the dip we have in the inner fender lining. im trying to stay away from spacers and getting a new tire, since i have almost 80% tire tread left on my tires. anymore help would be great guys, thanks
