if you're staying NA I think I would go with 17's, if you're gonna boost later on just get 18's because they look nicer and you won't notice the slow down.

i agree with those that say 18s look too big sometimes. i'd go 17s, i think the tire/wheel ratio looks better. also 17" tires are gonna be a good bit cheaper.

I have 18 ce28ns in Gunmetal on my car, I love how they look. They are still lighter then stock, so I didnt notice it slow down any, it also depends on what type of tires you get on them. Im lowered about an inch and they fit nice and snug.
I guess you might notice more of a difference if you are going form 16inch ap1 wheels to 18s, then I did with my 17 to 18s.

I love the look of my 18's, but I will agree with the others in stock form the car feels slower. I also went to 255 on the rear and have to try hard to break it loose.

i have a j's body with 25 mm fron/rear fenders ,also vortech sc'ed so i go with 18's...

Actual performance difference isn't going to be that great. I'd go 17's to save money, and I like the look better.

Personally, I wish they made serious, wider high-perf street rubber in 16". I'd rather be on ~275/40-16 rears and 245/45-16 fronts than on 17's or 18's. But the tires don't exist...

Go with 17s if you want to save money. I have 18s but I am boosted so I dont know how much "slower" the car would feel if I was NA on 18s.

I went with 18's because I got a great deal on my wheels. Wedsport TC005's, they weigh in at 16.9lb (rear) and 15.5lbs (front). I didn't notice a this slow down that everone is commenting on (i am NA). I'm assuming that it is because of the unsprung weight reduction particularly. If I could get the TC005's in 17, I'd strongly consider it and put my 18's on my TSX.

So... if anyone has a set of these in 17" let me know
