FYI, the treadwear rating is a number attached to the tire by the manufacturer, it is not regulated or necessarily related to other manufacturers.
With the proper alignment the RE050 rear tires should last about 15,000 miles under normal sports-car driving. You will not find a tire that lasts much longer than that on this car, regardless of the treadwear claim.
