Default 17" RGR with Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec

Is anyone running 17" BBS RGRs with 225/45/17 Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs in the front? Any rubbing issues at stock height? What if the car is lowered?

Thanks in adv.

-Jay

edit: Btw front offset is +48.

Bumpp? Want to order soon. I would prefer 225s but will go 215fr for safety (I live in NY so the pothole situation is desperate here). FYI rears are 255.

Thoughts?

I highly doubt there will be any rubbing issue at stock height.

grip is limited by wheel width...

Wider tires on thinner rims means less response, always match tire and wheel width as close as possible

What widths are supposed to be ideal for 7.5f 8.5r?

I have 7.5/8.5 and running 215f 245r set up. go to tirerack.com and look up tire sizes you are interested in. They should have the rim width info you're looking for.

I have a 2000 AP1, stock suspension

17x7.5 + 48 RGR in front, 17x8.5 + 55 RGR in back

Dunlop Start Specs, 225/45 fr, 255/40 rear. No issues...go for it.
