Default 17 Inch AP1 Wheels

After putting my ap1 wheels back on, they're growing on me again. Maybe it's just because it's a change from the AP2 V1 wheels. Anyway, I think the AP1 wheels in 17s or 18s would be a nice OEM+ look.

Does anyone know of something that fits the description? I've been looking through TireRack.com, perusing gallerys, etc... but just haven't found what would essentially be a 17 inch AP1 wheel.

This is slightly OT but how did the ap2 wheels compare as far as day to day driving is concerned?

Honestly, I've got some crappy Nexen tires on the AP2V1s and Bridgestone RE050s on the AP1s, so I'm not sure. The AP1s seem to ride softer, quieter and stickier. At least the ride could be attributed to the taller side wall, but the rest could just be that I'm riding on a much better tire.

No AP1 17/18 inch OEM wheels...
04 AP2 has 17 staggered wheel set up.

OP is just looking for a wheel that looks like the OEM AP1, not actual 17" OEM AP1 wheels.

Take a look at SSR GT1's you'll have to buy used but they are somewhat close.. I can't think of anything exactly like the oems though...

Some other thinner 5 spokes are 5Zigen FN01r-cs

There are also some rays gramlights that are a thin 5 spoke

Thanks!! I really like the Rays Gram Light 57 Pro but holy sh!t those are expensive!!! Roughly $2400 for a set when I only paid $11,900 for my AP1.

The 5Zigen FN01r-cs are might be closer to the AP1 wheels definitely less expensive. I may have to start doing nice things for the wife and then spring a new set of wheels on her.

New they are expensive but for some reason in the used market I see them from $800-1400 so if you want those, I would buy used

There are also cheaper gramlights that aren't the 57s

desmond regamasters are a 5 spoke rim that come in 17inch. their a thicker spoke than ap1 rims but there forged magnesium so the strong and light weight and you can find new or used for a decent price.
