Default 17" Aftermarket Wheel, best tire combo?
Jim, just wanted to get your expert opinion on 17" wheels and optimum tire sizes. There are so many combos I just thought I'd hear what choice you'd make. Thank you.

It would depend on the width and the offset of the wheels you choose. For most applications I like 225/45R17 and 255/40R17.

Kumho MXs in the above sizes if you want performance; Kumho 712s if you want to get high mileage and decent performance.

How about on a 17x7 and 17x8? It's an SSR GT1. Probably interested in a Kumho 712.

Also, what's the difference between a 712 and a 711?
