Which does everyone feel best for the AP1's. I will be auto-xing a couple times a month and am looking for which will give me the best all around street/auto-x balance.

What are the downsides of moving up to 18" if any?

I'm looking for a more in depth explanation for 17" compared to 18" if anyone has the knowledge

 

I vote 17's for all style rims except for mesh types (BBS) those look better in 18's.

 

I like the look of 18's better, but based upon what you have said you would like to do with the car I think 17's are the way to go for you. They are a nice balance between looks and performance IMO.
