Default 17 or 18

Hey guys , I got rid of my 18 bbs lm and now have 17 enkie but have big gap between tires and it already pretty low I was thinking about going back to 18 work Meister but I love how my car perform on 17 .. What do I do (

Rim size has nothing whatsoever to do with your tire's outer diameter. Get the correct size tires and your fender gap will be identical.

Well I got 40 series tire on it now I might go 50 to cover the gap

I don't think the OP understood you Syn.
If you are running the correct size tire, the overall diameter of the tire will not change. Thus, your wheel gap will not be affected.
Assuming the width of the tire stays constant and you go from a 40 profile to a 50, you'll just mess up your speedo.

Sorry guys I'm really confused I'm already running 17 x 8.5 in front with 235 wide .

Everytime you buy tires make sure the diameter stays about the same as OEM. Here is the calculator:

I kept it 17 by 8.5 all around , and 235 40 17 all around
