I am running rpf1's in 16x7 f and 16x8 rear without issues - when I was running the 16x8 front too which ar +35 I had to dial in 3.5 degrees of camber and the tire still poked a bit with 225 tires. I can't imagine a 20 offset without full on flared fenders or just dumped on it's frame and a lot of camber.

I find the staggered sizes look better and the car is far less spin happy.

how would maxybe 16x7 +45 f and 16x8+50r sound? judging by my very little knowledge of offset fitment i would say its high enough to clear my rolled rear fenders right?
i run 16/7/45 16/8/48 with a 5 mm spacer all around so the front would be 40 and rear 43 i have no rub with stock size star specs on espelir asd's. love how the car sits!

16x8+20 on stock fenders your gonna have to run a pretty skinny tire and do a good amount of pulling like what others have said.

Im running 17x9 +20 in the back with 255 tires but I have cut quarter panels and 30mm overfenders.

Yup, you cant really run low offsets on these cars without rolling, pulling, or cutting.
