16" wheels on ap2?

i've seen several sets of the 16" jdm bbs lightweight wheels for sale that are offered in Japan as options on the ap1. wondering if anyone's ever tried these (or 16" wheels for that matter) on their ap2.

does handling degrade or special modifications need to be made?

No mods required. You will not be able to run as wide a rear tire as you could on the OEM AP2 wheel.

I have a set of 16" wheels for winter use. No issues, but driving is alot less spirited than on the summer wheels/tires.

I'd have to check but I think my 16" wheels have all the same width of tire.
