'Nice explanation Grip. Thanks. The part about the additional "suspension" from the taller sidewalls that would be required to obtain the same overall diameter is right on the money.
I can see no way that addin' that additional suspension to your suspension could be beneficial . . well . . maybe if you were doin' alodda travellin' over washboard roads. But even then, that'd be a helluva price to pay for the loss of solid foot-plantin' in the corners.

ive also tried putting ap1 wheels on my car, ride was terrible and i felt like i was almost glideing, its hard to explain but stick with 17 and/or above, the ride is terrible from what i went thru, evan tho i use them for winter wheels the ride sux big time
